Built in the Real World
You do not need another compliance lecture. You need someone who understands the job, the employee, and the performance standard.
For 15+ years, I have worked at the intersection of disability, employment, and results: job coaching, vocational evaluation, employer consultation, staff management, and performance measurement.
That means I can help you separate a real barrier from a vague expectation—and build a practical plan to find out whether support is actually improving performance.

About Dr. James Rothrock
For over 15 years, I have worked where disability, employment, and performance collide. I have conducted evaluations, analyzed demands, worked out accommodations, and built performance systems.
Accommodations involve job fit, essential duties, performance clarity, and employee capability. I understand the employee’s barriers and the manager’s burden.
I know what it looks like when management fails to offer an employee the chance to succeed. I can also discern when a team is carrying unresolved performance problems.
The goal is neither to protect a process nor to punish an employee. It is to give a fair, structured chance to perform. I also give leaders a clear, documented, basis for action when performance stalls.
J.S. Rothrock, Ph.D., LPC, CRC teaches the overlap between disability, employment, and counseling to graduate and undergraduate students.
