Specialization

Meaning/identity anxiety in high-performing adults

Common patterns I work with:

  • generalized dread and chronic overthinking

  • rumination, mental replay, and constant self-evaluation

  • fear of failure or exposure despite competence

  • perfectionism that drives performance and ruins peace

  • avoidance of important tasks and decisions

  • difficulty committing to what you want

  • “I should be grateful, but something feels off”

  • performance anxiety in work and leadership contexts

  • identity conflict: success without internal conviction

This work is about becoming more self-led: making decisions from values rather than threat.

If we are not a good fit, We’ll help you find a better one.

What sessions are like

This isn’t a passive process.

We will typically:

  1. map your anxiety loops and avoidance patterns with precision

  2. identify the underlying rule-set (approval, certainty, perfectionism, control)

  3. build skills for regulation and cognitive flexibility

  4. design behavioral practice that fits your real constraints

  5. review outcomes as data: what helped, what didn’t, what’s next

You will not be asked to “think positive.”

You will be asked to act in alignment with what matters.

What I do not treat

I am likely not the right provider if you need:

  • a higher level of care (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient)

  • ongoing crisis management as the primary focus

  • active substance withdrawal support

  • court-ordered treatment, custody evaluations, or forensic services

  • formal psychological testing or comprehensive neuropsychological assessment

  • complex case management requiring in-person coordination

If that applies, I will refer you to more appropriate resources.

Why telehealth is a good fit for this work

For high-performing clients, the success variable is often consistency, not insight.
Telehealth improves consistency by lowering friction and making sessions easier to attend during demanding weeks.

Online therapy also supports immediate application

We can discuss the real moments you’re facing—emails, decisions, relationships, work pressure—while you’re actually living them.
